The clearomizer is the chamber which houses the e-liquid in your vape pen. The place where e-liquid is turned to vapour... the engine room, so-to-speak.

Here you can find our superb range of clearomizers (also spelt 'clearomiser'), each of which is compatible with at least one electronic cigarette battery in our range, but in many cases (particularly those which are 'eGo-compatible') they are compatible with many.

What is a clearomizer?

A clearomizer is a chamber which has the dual purpose of containing your e-liquid and being the place in which your e-liquid is heated and turned into vapour.

Disposable Clearomizer

The disposable clearomizer is exactly that - one which is thrown away when it has reached the end of its lifespan (we say 2-8 weeks depending on use).

Rebuildable Clearomizer

The rebuildable model of clearomizer is relatively new, but was very welcomed by the ecig community when it arrived. In short, it's a clearomizer which can be easily taken apart so that only certain parts need replacing. Note: this may sound daunting, but it's usually as simple as unscrewing the bottom of the clearomizer, removing the wick and replacing it with a new one! This method of vaping is popular with sub ohm vapers, using sub ohm tanks.

Capacity

Standard size clearomizers hold around 1.6ml, but in ecig 'pens' (ideal for taking on the go, in a handbag or in the pocket, this can be less. These chambers can also be purchased with up to 3ml capacity and beyond.

How does a clearomizer work?

A clearomizer is a chamber into which you pour your e-liquid. Through the middle of this chamber is a metal tube which connects to the wick. This wick is tasked with soaking up the e-liquid and delivering it to the heating coil (which can be found at the top or the bottom of the chamber, or in the case of a 'dual coil' - both the top & the bottom).

The Electric Tobacconist stocks a large range of e-cigarette accessories including ecig batteries, carry cases and various charging adaptors to go with your e-cigarette starter kit.
